The oldest black chamber of commerce in the country held its 88^th annual awards banquet to honor special awardees, share the past year’s successes and hear an amazing speech by the keynote speaker, Dr. Dennis Kimbro.  In addition, the event is the time new board officers are installed.  Over 600 guests attended the event.  Major corporate partners included Wells Fargo, Texas Instruments, American Airlines, Verizon,  DFW International Airport, Southwest Airlines, American Airlines Credit Union, Chase, IBM, TXU Energy, ONCOR, Coca-Cola Refreshments, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Charlton Methodist Center.
